Using songs in language learning
Early Start has lots of songs, some specially written, others adapted from traditional children's songs in the language.
Action songs, like the French version of "Heads, shoulders, knees and toes" are lways a favourite in the classroom and help make the key language unforgettable.

The simply-animated 'karaoke'- style lyrics help build associations between the sounds of the words and their spelling. (below)
The songs are carefully recorded at a pace slow enough for children to follow - too many songs intended for young language learners are just too fast!
The creators of many of Early Start's songs used their experience of pantomimes (!) - they know just what will get groups of children singing with gusto and enjoyment.
